Abstract

Aim: To assess the effect of Neurobics and Sanskar Remodelling in Diabetic management.

Method: The interventional, nonrandomised, pre and post study was carried out at the Department of Physiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha. The study lasted one year, and the participants were diabetic patients aged 15 to 90 years old, both sexes included. Only 63 of the 210 patients recruited were eligible for the study group.

A total of 57 people were chosen from the general population to serve as the control group.

In both groups, blood sugar and WHO-QOL were measured.

Results: Between the pre and post test findings of the study group, there was a statistically significant decrease in BMI, FBS, and PPBS. The WHO-QOL-Bref tool was used to examine the four domains. This study found that the intervention used for the study group resulted in improvements in all four domains.

Conclusion: The study concludes that the lifestyle modification programmes employed in this study, such as Neurobics and Sanskar Remodelling, can be used in conjunction with routine drugs to treat diabetes.
